Both programs offer foundational clinical research training paired with a clinical research–focused remote internship. However, the CRA course adds an advanced layer of training specifically for those interested in becoming Clinical Research Associates, while still allowing flexibility to explore other roles within the field.The Clinical Research Global course, in addition to covering core concepts, provides introductory training across multiple roles in clinical research. It also includes an overview of international regulatory frameworks, making it ideal for individuals who wish to work in clinical research both within the United States and internationally.The Obedtek Clintern Ascend program is perfect for recent grads, career changers, or anyone starting out in clinical research. While a background in Life Sciences, Medicine, Public Health, or related fields is helpful, it’s not required—just bring your passion for healthcare and a commitment to learn.
Absolutely. Clintern Ascend is built for flexibility. All core training is self-paced and online, allowing you to learn when it's convenient. Internship tasks are remote and is structured around your schedule, so you can gain practical experience without having to quit your job or pause your education. Most participants complete the self-paced training in under two weeks by dedicating just 2–3 hours a day. The internship, which typically lasts 4 weeks, is designed to fit around your work or school schedule—giving you the flexibility to complete tasks without taking any time off.
Yes. Every accepted participant is matched with a remote internship site. We’ve partnered with clinical research organizations to ensure every student get access to practical training.
